Hash rosin and the rest of the family. Potent — the counter will tell you straight.
Full-spectrum RSO in a syringe, measured out in tiny amounts. Ask the counter how before you try it.

Section 04 / Inside the shop
Mint green on one side, dusty rose on the other, and paintings on nearly every stretch of wall in between.
Section 05 / The crew
Real people, real recommendations. Say hi when you come in, and tell them what you're after.

Store manager
Three-plus years in cannabis right here in Sunland Park. She loves getting to know customers, helping people find what they need, and putting together events that bring the neighborhood in. "We may be a hidden gem, but once you find us, you'll know why."

Budtender
Born and raised in El Paso, with a business degree from UTEP. He shows up with a positive attitude and a real passion for cannabis. His goal: every customer should feel like they're shopping with family or a lifelong friend.

Budtender
A hybrid girlie at heart, with concentrates and dabs as her go-to. She loves how each strain can create a completely different experience, and helping every person find the one that's right for them.

Budtender
"I bring the energy and chaos necessary to rock the store out."

Section 07 / First time?
Valid, unexpired, government-issued. Everyone gets checked at the door — no exceptions, no offence meant.
No appointment, no membership, no card. Parking is out front and the building is wheelchair accessible.
Or say you have no idea — that's a completely normal sentence here. Describe the day you want, not the product you think you should name.
There's an ATM inside if you need it. Credit isn't an option — that's the industry, not the shop.
Curbside is confirmed by the shop's own sign at the counter: call (575) 332-4013 for curbside orders.
Section 08 / Hours

Section 09 / Visit
Look for the grey metal building with the TOKE It Up banner on the front wall. The Now Open sign is further along the same wall, to the right of the entrance. The doors are on the left, under the awning.
Section 10 / How it started
Jeremy retired from the state. One afternoon he was sitting out on the patio smoking a joint, talking through a dream out loud: why can't we open a dispensary? What is stopping us?
Annual events for race funds were already part of the picture, so the community side of it wasn't theoretical. The shop was meant to be an extension of a good-quality store, combined with the local connection they had with the state and the cities nearby — and it was meant to serve the community in a positive way.
The vision was built with room in it. From the start it was acclimated for a potential expansion into Texas.
Retired from the state. A joint, an afternoon, and a question said out loud instead of kept quiet.
Annual events for race funds. A real local connection to the state and the cities nearby. The bones of a good-quality store.
The doors opened on Futurity Drive in Sunland Park. Young shop, long-standing intention.
Built acclimated for a potential expansion into Texas — which, from this corner of New Mexico, is the next thing over.
Section 11 / The whole point
"More than just get high" is Jeremy's line, and it's the reason the shop exists. The way he puts it, it's about functioning life — knowing what strains are out there and what they're actually like, so you can pick something that fits the day you're having.
A morning before a shift is not a Friday with friends is not a quiet evening on the couch. Different days, different answers. Nobody here is trying to move whatever's oldest on the shelf.
Flower, edibles, vapes and concentrates all behave differently — how fast, how long, how much. Understanding that difference is most of the job, and it's free.
We talk about experience, not treatment. No health claims, no promises, no medical advice — for anything health-related, talk to a doctor. Start low, go slow, and ask us anything.
Experiential language only. Cannabis affects everyone differently and nothing here is a health claim.
Section 12 / The mission
TOKE It Up's mission is unique in the cannabis industry. Our goal is not just to sell cannabis. We intentionally seek to enhance our customers' quality of life.
"We do this by first ensuring only the best medical and recreational products are brought into our store. We personally test all products. If we wouldn't use a product, we are not going to sell it."
"In order to directly impact quality of life, we help customers identify their desired experience and accurately match the proper product or strain. How is this done? With our 'no rush' policy. Customers are encouraged to take their time browsing, discussing and asking questions."
"Our staff also take the time to explain the background of each grower and distributor, as well as the manufacturing processes. Knowing who grew or manufactured a product is important and often overlooked. High-quality growers and producers deliver better terpenes and consistency among strains. Most of our growers are local and don't use pesticides."
"Also core to TOKE It Up's mission is giving back to the community in tangible ways." That starts with Casa De Peregrinos, the local food bank operator they partner with.
How they give back"TOKE It Up will continue to provide the best value on the highest quality products, while always finding unique ways to give back."

Section 13 / What they're known for
We asked what the one thing people know them for is. They gave three, so all three are here — in their words.
"Best prices for quality product." Quality is the first half of that sentence and it isn't decoration — the price only matters because of what's attached to it.
their wordsAn ideal selection, chosen on purpose rather than stacked to fill a case. Flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, glass — a shelf someone actually curated.
their words"Because of Jeremy and the team. The energy of the store, the positivity to serve — it's like no other." Of the three, this is the one they said twice.
their wordsAsked for three words, they sent six. We're not cutting any.
Warm and friendly was the brief. Six adjectives and not one of them about product is a fairly good sign they meant it.
Section 14 / Community
TOKE It Up is the first dispensary to partner with local food bank operator Casa De Peregrinos — a relationship that started with a $1,000 donation at the Grand Opening and hasn't stopped since.
Since that first donation, the shop has coordinated several fundraisers with Casa De Peregrinos, including the ongoing "Pin for the Hungry," and spent hours volunteering directly at the food bank and helping with large food drive events.
Covered when the shop opened by CBS4 El Paso ↗ and the Las Cruces Bulletin ↗

Section 15 / Where this is
Sunland Park sits in the very bottom corner of New Mexico, on the Rio Grande, with El Paso, Texas immediately to the east. That geography is not incidental to this business — it's the reason the "nearby cities" line in the origin story means something, and it's why the plan was built acclimated for a potential expansion into Texas from day one.
One important thing about being this close to a state line: cannabis bought legally in New Mexico stays in New Mexico. Don't take it across.
Typical drive without traffic: about 8 minutes from West El Paso, 12 from UTEP and 15 from Downtown. Coming from El Paso? Drive times from nine neighborhoods →
Section 16 / Questions
Answered straight, including the ones where the honest answer is "not yet."
No. New Mexico allows adult-use sales, so you don't need a card or a doctor's note. You need to be 21 or older with a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID.
Your ID, and cash or a debit card. There's an ATM inside if you forget. Credit cards aren't accepted — that's an industry-wide banking thing, not a shop policy.
Yes — 8:30am to 9:15pm, same as every other day. Seven days a week with no short day in the week. Holiday hours may vary.

Yes. The whole menu is online at shop.tokeitupdispensary.com ↗, sorted into the same nine categories as the counter. You can also call (575) 332-4013 to order, and curbside works the same way: call when you're on your way.
No. What you buy legally in New Mexico stays in New Mexico. The state line is close enough here that this comes up constantly, so it's worth saying plainly: don't cross it with cannabis on you.
More than fine — it's the point. Say it's your first time and describe what kind of evening or day you're after. You'll get a real conversation about what things are like, not a sales pitch. Start low, go slow. We don't give medical advice; for anything health-related, talk to a doctor.
Ask at the counter. Rewards and gift cards are being sorted out and aren't live as an online system, and daily specials change — so calling (575) 332-4013 will always beat reading it here.
